Custom Instrumentation Solutions for Scientific and Engineering Challenges

Creation of Custom Instrumentation to Meet Scientific Challenges

Since the beginning of science, researchers have found their work limited by the inability to make a particular measurement or to control a device or process.  These are the problems solved by instrumentation, and when that instrumentation is unavailable, a collaboration with the Instrumentation Design Laboratory (IDL) may lead to a solution.

The IDL works across the range of scientific disciplines to create solutions that lead to new or better observations.
