Teaching Support

The IDL has supported the classroom directly in two ways:

  • Building equipment for student experiments:  A pair of spectroscopy experiments in Physical Chemistry entailed building the control interfaces and providing high-speed data acquisition.  Other cases have been in other chemistry and physics labs.
  • Teaching courses or modules in computers and electronics for scientists.  Currently, we participate in physics with a microcontroller module that presents the ways to interact with a wide variety of sensors, actuators, and other devices.
