Robert W. Young

Rob became director of the Instrumentation Design Laboratory in 2018.

Recent work at the IDL has concentrated on microprocessor control of instruments, programmable logic, radio frequency circuits and printed circuit board (PCB) design. His skill with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) is well appreciated on the campus.

Rob received his Bachelor of Science (1991) and Master of Science (1993) in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University.
